Description

PR-02-PE Payroll Register 1855-1869 Lists date of oath as April 7, 1855 and how vacated as Removed.  (It could be resigned, but it looks like removed.)   I checked the St Inigoes items in the St Mary's Beacon for a few months before and after Pamelia left the lighthouse and there was no mention of anything at all in the newspapers.
CPR-11-WM Personnel Folder 06/04/1869 Appointment letter for William Moody (note that it says vice P. Edwards removed).
PR-03-WB Payroll Register

1849-1855

Oath of office for Miss Pamelia Edwards: April 7, 1855.
PR-04-PE Payroll Register 1855-1871 Another page showing Pamelia.  If you compare the entry of William Moody (other evidence proves that he resigned) to Pamelia Edwards, I think it is fair to say that how vacated is "Removed".  This is shrouded in mystery about why she was removed from office.
